Altered States Description
William Hurt stars in this sci-fi horror directed by Ken Russell. Research scientist Dr. Eddie Jessup (Hurt) begins experimenting with a sensory deprivation tank, using himself as the test subject. Under the influence of hallucinogenic drugs, he explores altered states of consciousness and experiences a journey back through stages of human evolution which alters his biological structure.
