Aluminium Ramp 2.7m RAR107 13mm White Safety Insert Strip

Aluminium Ramp 2.7m RAR107 13mm White Safety Insert Strip Description

The Genesis RAR107 Aluminium Ramp Reducer is a durable heavy duty profile designed to provide a safe, seamless transition between floor finishes of different levels. Unlike other models in the RAR range, the RAR107 includes a recessed channel that accepts a 38mm Tredsafe® or RAL-colour insert strip. This makes it the ideal choice for projects requiring visual contrast strips to support accessibility compliance or to highlight thresholds.

• Height: 13mm rise – perfectly suited for mid-height flooring systems such as LVT, loose lay vinyl, and carpet tiles.

• Length: Supplied in 2.7m profiles, easily cut to size for on-site installation.

Constructed from anodised aluminium, the RAR107 offers exceptional strength, durability, and corrosion resistance. Designed to perform in high traffic commercial spaces, it withstands continuous footfall as well as wheeled loads including trolleys, pallet trucks, and wheelchairs.

For secure fitting, each profile is pre-drilled and countersunk (No.6 screw), with fixing holes positioned 90mm from each end and at 150mm centres, ensuring a professional and reliable installation.

When correctly installed, the RAR107 can even accommodate light vehicle access, making it a practical solution for doorways, retail areas, and back-of-house environments where equipment regularly transitions across floors.

The option of RAL-colour inserts allows you to match your interior design or meet DDA compliance guidelines, while maintaining a modern and professional finish.

Dimensions may vary by up to ±5mm in line with supplier manufacturing tolerances.
