The AMD FX-6350 3.9 GHz (FD6350FRHKBOX) processor is a powerhouse of a processor. It uses Piledriver microarchitecture and contains a tuned-up bulldozer. Both increase the processors' energy efficiency and performance levels. It uses core Piledriver mechanisms that produces crisp video. The power lies in the AMD turbo core technology. This boosts performance in applications that are in use on the computer. The code name of the processor is Vishera, and it is priced reasonably for consumers. The AMD processor uses your system memory efficiently because of its Hyper Transport technology, which reduces system buses. This means that there will be fewer bottlenecks in the microprocessor, enabling it to process at a fast rate.
Part of the FX lineup, using the Vishera architecture with Socket AM3+. FX-6350 has 8MB of L3 cache and operates at 3.9 GHz by default, but can boost up to 4.2 GHz, depending on the workload. AMD is making the FX-6350 on a 32 nm production node using 1,200 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on FX-6350, which limits its overclocking potential.
With a TDP of 125 W, the FX-6350 consumes a lot of power, so good cooling is definitely needed. AMD's processor supports DDR3 memory with a dual-channel interface. For communication with other components in the computer, FX-6350 uses a PCI-Express Gen 2 connection. This processor does not have integrated graphics, you will need a separate graphics card.
Hardware virtualization is available on the FX-6350, which greatly improves virtual machine performance. Programs using Advanced Vector Extensions (AVX) can run on this processor, boosting performance for calculation-heavy applications.
