Aphelandra Green (12cm) V3 Description

This member of the Aphelandra genus is the gorgeous, evergreen Aphelandra Green. The leaves of the plant have some zebra-like striping on top, with colourful flower bracts forming at various times of the year to add another sense of character and colour to the plant. All of these features are great in a visual sense, but the Zebra Plant, as its more commonly known, also has physical benefits through the use of its air-purifying qualities. It will remove harmful pollutants and unwanted toxins from the air around it. You should place the plant in bright, indirect light, then water it once a week and mist it in between times to increase humidity levels. The soil should always remain moist and well-drained.
