It helps with water retention and nutrients without floating to the surface of ponds. It is free from chemicals and therefore is safe for all fish and aquatic life. IDEAL FOR CREATING AND REFRESHING AQUATIC PLANTS: Can be used from mid-spring through to early summer for potting up new plants. This is a good time to plant, as the water is warming up and plants should establish very well. Can also be used in late autumn for tidying up ponds before the winter months.
