Arduino R3 MIDI Breakout Adapter Description
The MIDI breakout adapter for Arduino R3 enables MIDI communication with your microcontroller. It features MIDI-IN, MIDI-OUT, and MIDI THRU ports, with optical isolation on the MIDI-IN to prevent ground loops. The board is mounted as a shield on the Arduino, routing MIDI-IN/THRU to the RX pin and MIDI-OUT to the TX pin. All Arduino data, analog, power, and bus pins are broken out for easy use. A RUN/PGM switch facilitates serial programming without removal. Size is about 57.4 x 53.1mm, with a green PCB.
