Constructed from premium cedar wood, the hive provides natural durability and resistance to outdoor weather conditions while offering excellent insulation properties for your colony. The traditional National hive design is compatible with standard National hive components, making future hive expansion and management straightforward.

The kit includes one brood box supplied with 11 brood frames and wax foundation sheets, providing space for colony growth and brood development. Two super boxes are also included with 22 super frames and foundation sheets, allowing space for honey storage and production throughout the season.

For effective hive management, the kit includes a metal queen excluder to help separate brood and honey areas, along with a crown board featuring cut-outs for porter bee escapes.
