Automatic Voltage Regulator for Brushless Description
The R230 AVR is a compact automatic voltage regulator for brushless alternators. It features an input voltage of 120 VAC (90-140 VAC) and a continuous current rating of 8A. This regulator monitors the exciter current to control alternator output voltage. Its design uses flame retardant and heat resisting materials for safety and reliability. Note: the shunt-excited alternator cannot sustain short circuits. Weight approximately 330g. Includes one AVR.
