The AN-5-203 automatic voltage regulator is a partially sealed electronic device used for generators. It operates by controlling the excitation current of the generator exciter to automatically regulate output voltage. This AVR offers high voltage stability, ease of use, and automatic adjustment. Manufactured with durable materials, it ensures a long service life and is designed with a small size for convenient carrying, storage, and performance. Technical details include an auxiliary winding input range of AC 55V to 220V, maximum excitation voltage output of 120V at 5A DC for 10 seconds, and a main winding voltage input of 400VAC at 50 or 60 Hz. It features adjustable low frequency protection for both 50 and 60 Hz. The generator magnetic field resistance should exceed 5 ohms. The steady state voltage adjustment rate is less than plus or minus 0.5 percent, with a voltage adjustment range greater than 15 percent. The minimum residual magnetizing excitation voltage is greater than 5V at 30Hz. With an external potentiometer of 1 k ohm and 1 watt, voltage can be fine-tuned by plus or minus 12 percent; if unused, the connecting piece is shortened.
