(Base Unit Only) Swell Reptiles Drinking Fountain Humidifier

(Base Unit Only) Swell Reptiles Drinking Fountain Humidifier Description

This reptile waterfall unit features a deep-water reservoir built into the compact design, complete with a small pump to move the water down the leaves in a dripper fashion. The flow of the water can be adjusted to meet your desired level.

It comes with a suction cup on the back for easy installation onto a glass surface, but we recommend placing it on the floor with decoration around it, due to the weight of the unit with water inside.

Swell Reptiles Fountain and Humidifier

• The Swell Reptiles Fountain and Humidifier also includes a carbon pad to help clean and purify the water.
• It measures 26cm x 10cm and comes with a 2.5W pump, making it low wattage and efficient to use.
• The unit comes with 1-year of manufacturer protection, but as long as the small pump is well-maintained, there should be no issues.

Questions and Answers

Q: Why do I need a reptile drinking fountain for my vivarium?

A: Using a reptile drinking fountain in your vivarium encourages your pet to drink, increases humidity, provides a more naturalistic environment, and improves water quality. Many reptiles are more inclined to drink moving water, and a reptile drinking fountain can provide a more appealing and natural way for them to get their hydration. In addition, a reptile drinking fountain can add a naturalistic touch to your vivarium, helping to create a more realistic habitat for your pet.

Q: Can I give my reptiles tap water to drink?

A: When giving water to your reptiles, it's important to use clean, fresh water that meets their specific needs. If your reptile lives in a naturalistic enclosure, like a terrarium or vivarium, you may want to use water that's similar to what they would encounter in the wild. You should also consider the pH of the water and make sure it's appropriate for your reptile's species. Avoid using tap water that's been chlorinated, as chlorine can be harmful to reptiles. Instead, use purified water or water that's been left out for a day to let the chlorine dissipate. Make sure to research the specific needs of your reptile and provide water that meets those needs.
