Bayer Aspirin Cardio 100mg 28 Gastro Resistant Tablets

Indications:
Aspirin Cardio 100 mg inhibits the adhesion and aggregation of blood platelets (platelets) and thus prevents the formation of blood clots (thrombi) in the process of developing (inhibition of platelet aggregation).
Aspirin Cardio 100 mg is used in adults:
- to reduce the risk of mortality in patients with suspected acute
myocardial infarction- to reduce the risk of morbidity and mortality in patients with a history of myocardial infarction
- to
reduce the risk of transient ischaemic attacks (TIAs) and stroke in patients with TIA
- for risk reduction in patients with stable and unstable
angina pectoris – for the prophylaxis of thromboembolism after vascular surgery or surgery, e.g. PTCA (Transluminal Percutaneous Coronary Angioplasty), CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass), carotid endarterectomy, arteriovenous shunts
– for the prophylaxis of deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism after long-term immobilization, e.g. after major surgery
- for reducing the primary risk of myocardial infarction in people with cardiovascular risk factors, e.g. diabetes, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, obesity, smoking, advanced age
- for prophylactic inhibition of platelet aggregation in coronary aneurysm

Contraindications:
Do not take Aspirin Cardio 100 mg:
-If you are allergic to acetylsalicylic acid, salicylates or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Precautions:
Before taking Aspirin Cardio 100 mg, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or plan to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

Pregnancy:
If you discover that you have become pregnant during treatment with Aspirin Cardio 100 mg, you should contact your doctor urgently.
In the first and second trimesters of pregnancy, Aspirin Cardio 100 mg can only be taken if your doctor has recommended it.
In the last trimester of pregnancy, acetylsalicylic acid, the active ingredient in Aspirin Cardio 100 mg, should not be taken in doses greater than 150 mg per day, due to an increased risk of complications for the mother and baby before and during childbirth (see section "Do not take Aspirin Cardio 100 mg"). In the last trimester of pregnancy, doses of up to 150 mg of acetylsalicylic acid per day can only be taken if prescribed by your doctor.

Breast-feeding:
Small amounts of acetylsalicylic acid and its active metabolites pass into breast milk. No adverse effects on the baby have been reported to date, therefore it is not necessary to discontinue breastfeeding but the daily dose should not exceed 150 mg. If you are taking higher doses (more than 150 mg per day), you should stop breastfeeding.

Driving and using machines:
No special precautions are required.

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as told by your doctor or pharmacist. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Dosage:
Stable and unstable angina, prophylaxis of relapse of myocardial infarction after vascular surgery, prophylaxis of transient ischaemic attacks (TIAs) and strokesThe
recommended daily dose is one gastro-resistant tablet of Aspirin Cardio 100 mg (equivalent to 100 mg acetylsalicylic acid) per day.

Acute myocardial infarction:
The recommended daily dose is three gastro-resistant tablets of Aspirin Cardio 100 mg (equivalent to 300 mg acetylsalicylic acid) per day.

Prophylaxis of deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism:
The recommended daily dose is one gastro-resistant tablet of Aspirin Cardio 100 mg (equivalent to 100 mg acetylsalicylic acid) per day.

Prophylaxis of coronary artery thrombosis in patients with multiple risk factors:
The recommended daily dose is 1 – 2 gastro-resistant tablets of Aspirin Cardio 100 mg (equivalent to 1 to 100 – 200 mg acetylsalicylic acid) per day or 3 gastro-resistant tablets of Aspirin Cardio 100 mg (equivalent to 300 mg acetylsalicylic acid) at 2-day intervals.

Composition:
- The active substance is acetylsalicylic acid. Each gastro-resistant tablet contains 100 mg of acetylsalicylic acid.
- The other ingredients are:
Core - powdered cellulose, corn starch
Film - copolymer of methacrylic-ethyl acrylate 1:1, polysorbate 80, sodium lauryl sulfate, talc, triethyl citrate.

Indicatii:
Aspirin Cardio 100 mg inhibă adeziunea şi agregarea plachetelor din sânge (trombocite) şi în felul acesta previne formarea cheagurilor de sânge (trombi) în curs de dezvoltare (inhibarea agregării plachetare).
Aspirin Cardio 100 mg este utilizat la adulți:
- pentru reducerea riscului de mortalitate la pacienţii la care se suspectează infarct miocardic acut
- pentru reducerea riscului de morbiditate şi mortalitate la pacienţii cu infarct miocardic în antecedente
- pentru profilaxia secundară a accidentului vascular cerebral
- pentru reducerea riscului de atacuri ischemice tranzitorii (AIT) şi accident vascular cerebral la pacienţii cu AIT
- pentru reducerea riscului la pacienţii cu angină pectorală stabilă şi instabilă
- pentru profilaxia trombembolismului după chirurgie vasculară sau intervenţii chirurgicale, de exemplu, PTCA (Angioplastia Coronariana Percutanata Transluminala), CABG (Bypass Coronarian), endarterectomie carotidiană, şunturi arterio-venoase
- pentru profilaxia trombozei venoase profunde şi a embolismului pulmonar după imobilizare pe termen lung, de exemplu, după intervenţie chirurgicală majoră
- pentru reducerea riscului primar de infarct miocardic la persoanele cu factori de risc cardiovascular, de exemplu, diabet zaharat, hiperlipidemie, hipertensiune arterială, obezitate, fumat, vârsta înaintată
- pentru inhibarea profilactică a agregării plachetare în anevrism coronarian 

Contraindicatii:
Nu luaţi Aspirin Cardio 100 mg:
-Dacă sunteţi alergic la acidul acetilsalicilic, salicilaţi sau la oricare dintre celelalte componente ale acestui medicament.

Precautii:
Înainte să luaţi Aspirin Cardio 100 mg, adresaţi-vămedicului dumneavoastră sau farmacistului.  

Sarcina, alăptarea și fertilitatea:
Dacă sunteţi gravidă sau alăptaţi, credeţi că aţi putea fi gravidă sau intenţionaţi să rămâneţi gravidă, adresaţi-vă medicului sau farmacistului pentru recomandări înainte de a lua acest medicament.

Sarcina:
Dacă descoperiţi că aţi rămas gravidă în timpul tratamentului cu Aspirin Cardio 100 mg, trebuie să vă adresaţi de urgenţă medicului.
În primul şi al doilea trimestru de sarcină, Aspirin Cardio 100 mg poate fi luat numai dacă medicul v-a recomandat acest lucru.
În ultimul trimestru de sarcină, acidul acetilsalicilic, ingredientul activ al Aspirin Cardio 100 mg, nu trebuie să fie luat în doze mai mari de 150 mg pe zi, datorită unui risc crescut de complicaţii pentru mamă şi copil înainte şi în timpul naşterii (vezi secțiunea “Nu luaţi Aspirin Cardio 100 mg”). În ultimul trimestru de sarcină, doze de până la 150 mg acid acetilsalicilic pe zi pot fi luate numai în cazul în care v-a prescris medicul dumneavoastră.

Alăptarea:
Cantităţi mici de acid acetilsalicilic şi metaboliţii săi activi trec în laptele matern. Nu au fost raportate până în prezent efecte negative asupra copilului, prin urmare nu este necesar să se întrerupă alăptarea dar doza zilnică nu trebuie să depăşească 150 mg. În cazul în care luaţi doze mai mari (mai mult de 150 mg pe zi), trebuie să întrerupeți alăptarea.

Conducerea vehiculelor şi folosirea utilajelor:
Nu sunt necesare precauţii speciale. 

Mod de administrare:
Luaţi întotdeauna acest medicament exact aşa cum este descris în acest prospect sau aşa cum v-a spus medicul dumneavoastră sau farmacistul. Discutaţi cu medicul sau cu farmacistul dacă nu sunteţi sigur.

Doze:
Angină pectorală stabilă și instabilă, profilaxia recidivei infarctului miocardic, după intervenţii chirurgicale vasculare, profilaxia atacurilor ischemice tranzitorii (AIT) şi a accidentului vascular cerebral (AVC)
Doza zilnică recomandată este de un comprimat gastrorezistent de Aspirin Cardio 100 mg (echivalent la 100 mg acid acetilsalicilic) pe zi.

Infarct miocardic acut:
Doza zilnică recomandată este de trei comprimate gastrorezistente de Aspirin Cardio 100 mg (echivalent la 300 mg acid acetilsalicilic) pe zi.

Profilaxia trombozei venoase profunde şi a embolismului pulmonar:
Doza zilnică recomandată este de un comprimat gastrorezistent de Aspirin Cardio 100 mg (echivalent la 100 mg acid acetilsalicilic) pe zi.

Profilaxia trombozei vaselor coronariene la pacienţii cu factori multipli de risc:
Doza zilnică recomandată este de 1 – 2 comprimate gastrorezistente de Aspirin Cardio 100 mg (echivalent 1a 100 – 200 mg acid acetilsalicilic) pe zi sau de 3 comprimate gastrorezistente de Aspirin Cardio 100 mg (echivalent la 300 mg acid acetilsalicilic) la intervale de 2 zile. 

Dacă aveţi orice întrebări suplimentare cu privire la acestmedicament, adresaţi-vă medicului dumneavoastră sau farmacistului.

Compozitie:
- Substanţa activă este acidul acetilsalicilic. Fiecare comprimat gastrorezistent conţine acid acetilsalicilic 100 mg.
- Celelalte componente sunt:
Nucleu - celuloză pulbere, amidon de porumb
Film - copolimer de acid metacrilic-acrilat de etil 1:1, polisorbat 80, laurilsulfat de sodiu, talc, trietil citrat.
