Bilastyna Hitaxa hayfever 20 tablets Description

What is it for?

The drug is used in adults and adolescents from 12 years of age for:

• hay fever and other allergic rhinitis (sneezing, itching, runny nose, blocked nose, watery and red eyes)
• hives (itchy skin rashes)

How to take

• standard dose: 1 tablet of 20 mg once a day
• it should be assumed:
  • 1 hour before eating , or
  • 2 hours after eating
• do not take with grapefruit juice or other fruit juices, as they weaken the effect of the drug
• drink a glass of water

When not to use

Do not use if you are allergic to bilastine or any of the other ingredients.

Special caution

Before use, it is worth consulting a doctor if:

• kidney diseases
• heart rhythm disturbances
• very slow heart rate
• low levels of potassium, magnesium or calcium
• use of medications that affect heart rhythm

During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the decision on use should be made by a doctor.

If there is no improvement after 3 days or symptoms worsen, contact your doctor.
