BioCardine Omega-3, 60 capsules

BioCardine® Omega-3 is a food for special medical purposes containing a combination of high-quality, naturally pure and unenriched oils from the muscles of sardines, anchovies and mackerel caught in the southern regions of the Pacific Ocean, protected by a European patent. The preparation is intended for dietary management of malnutrition of the human body with higher fatty acids, to be used in parallel with the treatment of schizophrenia and depression, coronary heart disease and inflammatory diseases.

Food for special medical purposes for dietary management of malnutrition of the human body with higher fatty acids in parallel with the treatment of:

• schizophrenia, depression, multiple sclerosis,
• lipid profile disorders, including hypertriglyceridemia, hypercholesterolemia, dyslipidemia,
• atherosclerosis, rhythm and conduction disorders, myocarditis, hypertension, ischemic heart disease,
• rheumatoid arthritis,
• psoriasis, atopic dermatitis
• metabolic diseases, including diabetes

and:

• during recovery after serious cardiovascular events, including heart attack and stroke,
• in the perioperative period and during recovery after procedures.
• Recommended intake

  Unless your doctor tells you otherwise:

  In parallel with the treatment of diseases in the acute phase of schizophrenia and depression, recent stroke and heart attack

  • Adults:  12 capsules daily for up to 6 months together with a low-fat diet.

  In parallel with the treatment of diseases in the chronic phase of heart and circulatory system diseases, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, schizophrenia and depression, as well as previous coronary events

  • Adults:  6 capsules a day indefinitely.

  In parallel with the diagnosis of disorders or diseases of the brain and nervous system, heart and circulatory system, as well as inflammatory diseases

  • Adults:  4 capsules a day indefinitely.
  How to use

  • Capsules should be taken 15-20 minutes before a meal.
  • The daily number of capsules can be divided into 2-3 portions and taken before each meal.
  • The capsules can be swallowed whole or take only the oil contained in them, holding it in the mouth for several seconds before swallowing.
  • In order to alleviate the fishy taste of the capsule, its contents can be mixed with natural fruit juice (not citrus!) or after taking it, snack on bread, or drink a small amount of boiled water or herbal tea.

    Sardine ,  anchovy  and  mackerel muscle oils  , aroma, antioxidants: a mixture of tocopherols, rosemary extracts and esters of fatty acids and L-ascorbic acid, shell ingredients (gelatin, carrier: glycerol, water).

    • energy value 635 kcal/ 2658 kJ,
    • fat 72 g, including saturated fatty acids 7.58 g, monounsaturated fatty acids 9.76 g, higher polyunsaturated fatty acids, including omega-3 51.88 g, cholesterol <0.16 g; carbohydrates (glycerol) 8.4 g, protein (gelatin) 19 g.

    2 capsules contain:

    • energy value 20 kcal/ 83.74 kJ,
    • fat 2.28 g, including saturated fatty acids 0.24 g, monounsaturated fatty acids 0.31 g, higher polyunsaturated fatty acids, including omega-3 1.63 g, cholesterol <0.005 g; carbohydrates (glycerol) 0.266 g, protein (gelatin) 0.602 g.
    Contraindications

    • Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the product ingredients.
    • Contraindications to the use of portions larger than 5 g of higher omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids are bleeding disorders, hemophilia and planned surgeries.
