Important Information About Feather Boas

This boa is made from real feathers, so some feather shedding is completely normal. This is a natural characteristic of feather boas and should be expected, especially when first removed from the packaging or during wear.

Before wearing, we recommend giving the boa a gentle shake outdoors to remove any loose feathers left from the manufacturing process.

Some customers lightly spray their boa with hairspray to help reduce feather shedding. If you choose to do this, it is entirely at your own risk, as hairspray can make the boa more flammable. Always keep feather boas away from naked flames, cigarettes and other heat sources.

We'd rather set realistic expectations than make exaggerated claims. This is a good-quality, standard-weight 45g boa with elegant gold tinsel for extra sparkle. If you're looking for an especially thick, luxurious boa, we'd recommend choosing one of our heavier-weight options instead.
