The CD6007 features a tray loading mechanism with versatile playback for your CDs, including CD, CD-R and CD-RW. To increase the performance from the previous CD6006, Marantz has developed HDAM circuits used in the PM6007, to reduce noise levels and increase dynamic response when compared to traditional components. The HDAM-SA2 circuit provides a more stable power supply and maintains sound performance even at high output levels.

Implementing a reference class AK4490 DAC chip, the CD6007 is capable of hi-res digital/analogue conversion with up to 24-bit/192kHz resolution. This provides optimum fidelity with controlled bass and smooth highs for CD and USB file playback. For digital audio, the CD6007 introduces two selectable filter options that improve stereo imaging for more precise reproduction.

With a USB-A port on the front panel, the CD6007 supports digital audio formats such as WAV, MP3, AAC and WMA, allowing you to play hi-res music files easily. A fully discrete headphone amplifier, with HDAM-SA2 and volume control lets you listen with any pair of headphones.

The Marantz CD6007 CD player is engineered with carefully selected components, along with a double-layered bottom plate to dampen any resonance and ensure a cleaner, better focused sound. The CD player features an RCA analogue output to connect to an amplifier, as well as both optical and coaxial digital outputs to use an outboard DAC.
