Blagdon Minipond filters create a clean and healthy environment for your fish. A minimal amount of maintenance is needed due to the unique six stage filter design.

High performance UVC light clears green water algae. The spray bar oxygenates the water creating the ideal environment for friendly bacteria. Graded foam filter pads remove dirt and waste. Ceramic biological filter media prevents the build-up of harmful toxins in the pond. Replaceable polymer wool pads remove fine waste particles and polish the water. The carbon impregnated pad removes chemical pollutants, which are harmful to pond fish, wildlife, and plants.

This is a gravity filter; it must be situated higher than the pond's water surface. Ensure that the outlet hose is under 1m in length and that there is a drop of 15cm over this distance to the pond surface.

This Mini Pond Filter 9000 model is for use with a pump with a maximum flow rate of up to 2,550 litres per hour. This is important to enable the filter to work efficiently and for the UVC to process the water at the correct rate to enable it to remove the algae. If the flow rate were to be faster, the filter would be overwhelmed with water and overflow at the top under the lid; it would be unable to drain sufficiently back to the pond. The UVC would also be unable to work efficiently in its job of removing algae. The water is not intended to fill the chamber to the top, it should be of sufficient filling rate to flow easily back to the pond through the foams. See diagrams in the images provided.

This model is for ponds up to 9,000 litres. 230 Volt, 50Hz, 5-Watt lamp, 5 metre cable, CE approved, outdoor use safety rating IP56.
