In Boonlake, players leave civilization behind and settle along the shores of a mysterious lake in an unexplored land. Each player leads a group of pioneers, developing settlements, building infrastructure, and establishing a thriving community while uncovering the region's secrets. Actions are selected from a shared track, with the distance traveled affecting how quickly players can act again and creating a constantly shifting tactical rhythm. Manage resources, expand your network, advance on personal and shared objectives, and make the most of powerful combinations. The game offers strategic competition with limited direct conflict, meaningful planning, and a variable journey that rewards adaptable decision-making.
