Iconic quiet, comfort, and sound.
You feel it the minute you put them on. The soft, plush cushions seal you in. Then you flip the switch and whoosh — the world fades. And the music starts. The original noise cancelling headphones are back, with better world-class quiet (plus the new Aware Mode), shockingly light materials for premium comfort, and proprietary acoustic technology for deep, clear audio. Bose QuietComfort® 45 headphones — wireless headphones with the perfect balance of quiet, comfort, and sound.

Feels magical. But it’s not magic.
It all starts with our Acoustic Noise Cancelling™ technology, the result of more than 50 years of research. We use tiny microphones hidden in the earcups to continuously measure, compare, and react to outside noise. That noise is then cancelled with an opposite signal, resulting in fewer distractions — and more of your music. Use the button on the left earcup to choose from Quiet Mode for full noise cancelling, or Aware Mode to let in some of your surroundings.

More music. And awareness.
Aware Mode brings the outside world in with microphones that pick up the sounds around you and play them naturally through the headphones. It’s your music and your environment at the same time. So it sounds — and feels — like you aren’t wearing headphones at all.

Your music. In high fidelity.
Music, podcasts, and videos. This is the content you love. That’s why we engineered QC45 headphones with exclusive Bose technologies, like TriPort acoustic architecture and Volume-optimized Active EQ, to produce everything in high fidelity.

The proprietary TriPort design vents the earcups to add depth and fullness — all without increasing their size. So you get better sound from headphones that are smaller, lighter, and more comfortable. Plus, Volume-optimized Active EQ boosts highs and lows to maintain the same high-fidelity performance no matter how loud or soft you listen. Bass stays consistent when you turn down the volume and the music is still clear when you turn it up.

Comfort in the details
An incredible listening experience demands a level of comfort to match. QuietComfort® headphones continue to deliver serious value in this regard by focusing on all the little details. Like smooth cushions with no pleats, luxuriously plush synthetic leather, and minimal clamping force. You’ll almost forget you’re wearing them — even after hours of listening.

Impact resistant Glass-filled nylon reinforces the headband to protect against falls and maintain its shape.

Custom cast metal Each pivot point is built with a cast-metal hinge, so they’ll stay strong and durable.

Luxuriously plush Synthetic leather on the earcup cushions and top of the headband ensures all-day comfort.

Clearer conversations.
Indoors and out.
With the addition of a fourth external microphone, the improved voice pickup of QC45 headphones exceeds the competition. These headphones isolate and focus on your voice, while a noise-rejecting algorithm filters out environmental sounds for clearer conversations. It all happens in real time, giving you the confidence that your voice sounds crisp, even in windy, noisy conditions.

Listen longer
QuietComfort® 45 headphones give you more play time than their predecessor, with 24 hours* on a single charge. Enough to keep the quiet and your music going throughout even the longest red-eye flight. And they charge via USB-C® in up to 2.5 hours. A quick, 15-minute charge gives you up to 2.5 hours of play time. Or plug in the included audio cable to listen for even longer in wired mode.

Battery testing was conducted by Bose with active noise cancelling on and in continuous audio playback at 50% volume. Battery runtime is based on a typical use and may vary based on usage.
