BT COMPLETE WI-FI DISC, ADD ON DISC, dual band

BT COMPLETE WI-FI DISC, ADD ON DISC, dual band Description

BT COMPLETE WI-FI DISC, ADD ON DISC, dual band Seamless Mesh Roaming with "Smart" Band Steering: Unlike standard extenders that create separate network names, these discs use Intelligent Wi-Fi technology to form a single, unified mesh network. BT's system automatically switches your device to the strongest signal as you move between rooms, using band steering to intelligently push devices between 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies for optimal performance. Gigabit Ethernet Backhaul & Connectivity: Each disc features a 1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet port on the rear. This allows you to "hardwire" static devices like gaming consoles, 4K Smart TVs, or PCs directly into the disc for a lag-free connection, or use the port for a wired backhaul to the router to ensure maximum speeds in far-flung rooms. Exclusive Smart Hub 2 Integration: These specific black discs are purpose-built to work exclusively with the BT Smart Hub 2. This deep integration allows the hub to actively monitor the health of your mesh network and manage traffic more efficiently than generic third-party mesh systems, supporting dozens of devices simultaneously. My BT App Management & Location Tools: Users often search for setup help, which is handled via the My BT App. The app includes a unique signal checker that guides you to the "sweet spot" for placement-ensuring the disc is close enough to the hub to receive a strong signal while still being far enough to extend coverage into dead zones.
