This cable finder is a multifunction tester that locates telephone lines, network cables, and tests common metal wires through clip connections. It functions while switches and routers are on, allowing you to test continuity, crossover, and short circuits in network cables without powering down. The device supports twisted pair, video cables, telephone lines, and ordinary metal wires, using a multi-audio pulse signal format for rapid transmission. With a range of 1 to 1000 metres and an 8Vp-p signal level, it runs on two AA batteries per transmitter and receiver. Brand new.
