This multifunction cable tester includes line finding capability for telephone lines and network cables. It can test common metal wires through clip connections and operates with switches and routers powered on, allowing continuity, crossover, and short circuit tests without disconnecting power. The device works with twisted pair, video cables, telephone lines, and ordinary metal wires, using a multi-audio pulse signal format for efficient transmission. With a range of 1 to 1000 metres and an 8Vp-p signal level, it is powered by two AA batteries for both transmitter and receiver. Brand new.
