Callowesse Air2 Retractable Safety Gate Grey

Callowesse Air2 Retractable Safety Gate Grey Description

The Callowesse Air2 Retractable Safety Gate is a metal, screw-fitted safety gate designed to extend across openings from approximately 20cm up to 150cm wide, making it suitable for doorways, hallways and stairways. The gate operates with a one-handed locking mechanism: the rounded top is pushed and twisted to unlock, the gate is then pulled by the handle to the opposite fixing point, and the top is pushed and twisted again to lock it in place.

The gate retracts quietly when opened, reducing the likelihood of disturbing a sleeping child. When not extended across an opening, it sits back against the wall, keeping the passageway clear.

The pack includes wall fixings, a fixing template to assist with accurate positioning, and a set of skirting spacers (two 13mm and two 5mm) to support installation on walls with skirting boards. Additional spacer kits are available separately. The gate should be installed and used in accordance with the instructions provided, and it is recommended for use at the bottom of stairs only.

This gate is designed for use by parents and caregivers with children up to 24 months old. It should no longer be used once a child is able to climb over it or open it independently. The manufacturer states that the gate complies with the EN 1930:2011 safety standard for safety barriers for domestic use. Confirmation of CE or UKCA marking has not been provided by the supplier; please verify current certification directly with Callowesse or Olivers BabyCare before publishing if this information is required for your listing.

As with all safety gates, adult supervision remains necessary and this product should not be relied upon as a substitute for supervision.
