Callowesse Mesh Gate Extension 21cm Glacial White

Callowesse Mesh Gate Extension 21cm Glacial White Description

This 21cm extension in Glacial White is designed for use with the Callowesse Metal Mesh Safety Gate. It increases the width of the gate by 21cm so it can be fitted securely across wider doorways, hallways and openings at the bottom of stairs where the gate alone does not reach.

The extension measures W21 x H72 x D2cm and weighs 0.5kg. It is made in the same metal mesh style and colour as the Glacial White gate, so the gate keeps a consistent appearance once extended. The extension attaches directly to the gate frame and the gate continues to open, close and lock as normal.

Fitting guidance
Fit no more than one extension on each side of the gate to keep it stable. After installation, no more than 50% of the fitting pin should be exposed. If more than 50% of the pin is showing, the gate is overextended and a further extension is required before use. Extensions are also available in 7cm, 14cm and 28cm widths, allowing extensions to be combined to suit the opening.

Safety information
Use this extension only with the Callowesse Metal Mesh Safety Gate and follow the gate’s fitting instructions in full. Not recommended for use at the top of stairs. Check the gate and extension are firmly fitted before each use and re-tighten regularly, as pressure fit gates can loosen over time. Do not allow children to climb on or swing from the gate. A safety gate is not a substitute for adult supervision. Stop using the gate if any part is damaged or missing.
