Callowesse Mesh Stair Gate 14cm Extension Ash Grey

Callowesse Mesh Stair Gate 14cm Extension Ash Grey Description

This 14cm extension is designed to widen a Callowesse Metal Mesh Safety Gate so that it can fit larger doorways and stairwells. It is finished in Ash Grey to match the Ash Grey version of the gate.

Compatibility
The extension is designed for use only with Callowesse Metal Mesh Safety Gates. Adding one 14cm extension increases the fitting width by 14cm, for example taking the narrow 62 to 69cm gate to 76 to 83cm, or the standard 75 to 82cm gate to 89 to 96cm.

When an extension is needed
If more than 50% of a fitting pin is exposed once the gate is installed, an extension is needed for a secure and safe fit. Do not overextend the fitting pins to make the gate fit a wider opening.

Fitting
Attach no more than one extension to each side of the gate, to keep the gate stable. Follow the fitting instructions supplied with your gate when adding the extension, and check that the gate is held firmly and that the locks engage fully before use.

Safety information
Constant adult supervision is essential when a safety gate is in use. Check the pressure fitting regularly and re-tighten if the gate has loosened. Stop using the gate once a child can climb over it or open it independently.
