Product Description Canesten Thrush Combi Internal & External Creams: a 2-step solution to calm the itch and clear the infection for a complete relief. Treat both the internal cause and external symptoms of vaginal thrush with this complete treatment. Canesten Thrush Combi calms the itching and soreness caused by thrush. With a single dose of internal cream in an easy to use pre-filled applicator, this pack also comes with double strength* thrush cream to treat your uncomfortable external symptoms. Insert the internal cream into the vagina with the help of the pre-filled applicator before going to sleep at night for convenient and comfortable treatment. Gently smooth the external cream on the affected area 2-3 times daily until symptoms disappear. This pack includes one dose of internal cream in a pre-filled applicator and one 10-gram tube of external cream. Canesten Thrush Combi Internal & External Creams contains clotrimazole. Always read the label. * Compared to Canesten 1% cream. Ingredients The internal cream contains Clotrimazole 500mg (10% w/w). It also contains benzyl alcohol, polysorbate 60, sorbitan sterate, cetyl palmitate, cetosterayl alcohol, isopropyl myristate and purified water. The 10g tube of cream contains Clotrimazole 200mg (2% w/w). It also contains sorbitan stearate, polysorbate 60, cetyl palmitate, cetostearyl alcohol, octyldodecanol, benzyl alcohol and purified water. Directions Adults (ages 16 to 60): Insert contents of applicator into the vagina preferably at night so that it can work whilst you sleep. The external cream to be applied 2 or 3 times daily to the affected area. Safety Warning If you are unsure whether you have vaginal thrush check with your doctor. For use in and around the vagina only. Not recommended for use in adults over 60 years or children under 16 years. Consult with your doctor or pharmacist before using this product if: - You are pregnant or are trying for a baby, - You have any of the following symptoms: irregular vaginal or abnormal vaginal bleeding or a blood stained discharge, ulcers, blisters or sores of the vagina or vulva, - You are suffering from lower abdominal pain, pain or difficulty in passing urine, fever or chills, feeling sick or vomiting, a foul smelling discharge from the vagina, diarrhoea, redness, irritation or swelling. Consult your doctor before using if: - You have had more than 2 infections of vaginal thrush in the last 6 months, - You or your partner have ever had a sexually transmitted disease. As with other creams and pessaries, this product may reduce the effectiveness of rubber contraceptives, such as condoms or diaphragms, when used together. Consequently, you should use alternative precautions for at least five days after using this product.
