Solar Safe Technology
EclipSmart solar solutions use Solar Safe filter technology, which provides the best protection against dangerous solar radiation, including IR and UV rays, as well as 99.999% of visible light. Celestron Solar Safe filter technology is SAFE for direct observation of the Sun and has been independently tested to comply with and meet the transmission criteria of ISO 12312-2:2015(E), Filters for Direct Observation.

Important safety tip: examine your glasses before each use. Do not use or discard if the solar film is broken, torn, pierced, or detached from the frame in any way. Do not combine these glasses with any magnifying optical instrument (e.g., telescopes, binoculars).

Come with a 2-Year Warranty

Only look at the Sun using ISO-compliant eye protection, such as the filter included in this EclipSmart product. Never look straight at the Sun with the naked eye or unfiltered optics. Permanent and irreparable eye damage may occur.
Never tamper with or remove the permanently installed glass filters in this optic. Doing so is unsafe and will void your warranty.
Never leave your optics unsupervised. Make sure your optic is always accompanied by an adult who is familiar with its proper operation protocols, especially if children are around.
Never remove your eye protection while looking straight at the Sun during a partial solar eclipse.
