Celestron Right Angle Correct Image Finderscope Description
The Celestron Right Angle Correct Image Finderscope 93788-CGL makes it easier to discover and track things as they move within the field of view, thanks to its right-angle, correct-image design, which keeps objects orientated correctly from left to right and right-side up. The big 50mm aperture produces beautiful images with a 5° field of view and 9x magnification. It also has a Double-Crosshair Reticle, adjustable eyepiece position, and a bracket and dovetail base.
Features
- Comfortable Right-Angle Design: Keeps your neck and back at ease during extended periods
- Correct-Image Optics: Produces natural views—ideal for both day and night use
- 9x Magnification with 50mm Aperture: Captures sharp, bright visuals with a 5° field of view
- Double-Crosshair Reticle: Accurate target centring without obscuring stars is made possible by finely etched lines
- Adjustable Eyepiece Orientation: Rotate for the perfect viewing angle
- Durable Bracket & Dovetail Base: Includes a dual-ring bracket with oversized thumbscrews and a built-in dovetail that fits most Schmidt-Cassegrain and EdgeHD optical tubes
A fantastic improvement over the ordinary finderscopes that come with many Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes is the Celestron 9x50 Right Angle Correct Image (RACI) Finder. With a five-degree apparent field of view and a 9x magnification, the large 50mm aperture creates crisp, brilliant images. Finding and tracking things as they move within the field of vision is made simpler by the right-angle, correct-image design, which maintains objects appropriately orientated from left to right and right-side up. Depending on your arrangement, you can rotate the eyepiece module left or right to obtain the ideal viewing angle.
Whether you are discovering deep-sky objects on your own or aligning your computerised telescope, the double-crosshair reticle carved in the eyepiece makes it simple to centre an object. It is possible to focus the reticle independently of the finder.
A robust bracket with two rings and an integrated dovetail is included with the Celestron 9x50 RACI Finder. The finder's alignment may be easily adjusted thanks to the large thumbscrews. The dovetail makes it simple to attach to and remove from the majority of EdgeHD and Schmidt-Cassegrain optical tube assemblies without changing the alignment of the finderscope. The eyepiece also features an attachment point for an aftermarket M8x1.25 thread-in illuminator.
