Celestron TrailSeeker ED Binocular 10x50

Celestron TrailSeeker ED Binocular 10x50 Description

High-end optical performance and a durable, field-ready construction are combined in the Celestron TrailSeeker ED Binocular 10x50mm. It provides the clarity and durability you would anticipate from binoculars that cost two to five times as much. It is designed for serious birdwatchers, hunters, and outdoor observers.

Features
- ED objective lenses provide superior images virtually free of chromatic aberration with accurate colour reproduction, increased resolution and contrast
- Fully multi-coated optics for maximum light transmission through the optical path
- Phase and dielectric coated BaK-4 prisms for vivid, true-to-life colours
- Wide field of view and 9.8 ft close focus

Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) objective lenses, which are used in TrailSeeker ED, are intended to reduce chromatic aberration, which is the colour fringing that can occur along edges with strong contrast. ED glass enhances resolution, contrast, and overall picture integrity by bringing various light wavelengths to the same point of focus. However, the quality and execution of ED glass have a major role in its performance. Compared to normal optical glass, the ED components in Celestron's TrailSeeker ED are designed to produce much brighter, cleaner images with significant improvements in sharpness, contrast, and colour accuracy. In low light at dawn and dusk, the improvement is particularly apparent.

To optimise light transmission, TrailSeeker ED binoculars has completely broadband multi-coated optics. The best multi-coating on the market is fully broadband, which increases the range across the visual spectrum. BaK-4 prisms with dielectric and phase coatings inside improve performance even more. While dielectric coatings boost reflectivity for greater overall brightness, phase coatings correct internal light path distortions to improve resolution and contrast. BaK-4 prisms and completely multi-coatings work together to maximise light transmission for the brightest, most detailed images.

The lightweight magnesium alloy chassis of the Celestron TrailSeeker ED provides remarkable strength without adding extra weight. For a firm grip and additional protection in the field, the stiff frame is covered in sturdy rubber armour.

The binocular is completely waterproof, nitrogen-purged, and resistant to dust, rain, and internal fogging, ensuring consistent performance under varying circumstances. Whether you use glasses or not, twist-up eyecups with numerous click stops let you adjust your eye position for comfortable reading.

With TrailSeeker ED's 9.8-foot focus, you may view local wildlife without changing gear. It also brings far-off objects up close at 10x magnification, and its broad field of vision facilitates tracking movement over open space or the sky. It is designed for viewers who wish to have a single binocular that can capture the entire scene.

You can select the carrying harness or neck strap that is most comfortable for you with Celestron TrailSeeker ED binoculars. For prolonged viewing or digiscoping sessions, you may mount it on any conventional photographic tripod thanks to its tripod adaptability. (The tripod adaptor is offered separately.) Additionally, a soft case for storage or transportation is included with the binocular.

Solar Warning
Never look directly at the Sun with the naked eye or with this optic. Permanent and irreversible eye damage may result.
Never use your optic to project an image of the Sun onto any surface. Internal heat build-up can damage the optic and any accessories attached to it.
Never leave your optic unsupervised. Make sure an adult who is familiar with the correct operating procedures is with your optic at all times, especially when children are present.
