Chandrika Ayurvedic Soap (Pack of 5) Description
Founded in 1940, the Chandrika Ayurvedic soap company produces the finest natural soap blended from the highest quality oils, and does not include any animal products. These handmade soaps have been used by millions of people and are exported to America and Europe, and have been sold for over sixty years. Chandrika Soap was formulated after several years of research based on India's traditional system of medicine, dating back at least 4,000 years, known as Ayurveda (Science of Life), which aims to promote perfect health by ensuring balance in all aspects of life. Chandrika Ayurvedic soap contains no animal products, and is not tested on animals. Some of the herbs and oils used in this soap are: Coconut oil: Nourishes, moisturizes and lightens skin tan. Wild Ginger: Soothes the skin and helps prevent infections and rashes Lime peel oil: Refreshes and cools, has a penetrating lather and an astringent action Hydnocarpus oil: prevents skin problems, outbreaks and rashes Orange oil: Tightens pores, helps prevent pimples and blackheads Sandal wood oil: Cools, refreshes, and gently perfumes the skin

This particular soap is a firm favourite input household. Great product, A good firm bar of soap, packed with healthy herbal ingredients. The scent has a special resonance for us. Every wash transports us to our years of youth in India !

I just love this soap, an amazing smell that makes the whole bathroom smell lovely once you've used it. The only soap I use on my face, it's like a very rich cream, does not dry the skin. I highly recommend it, I've been using it since the 1970's since discovering it in India. Can't say enough about it. x Jean.

The nicest smelling soap there is. It's also completely natural, plant-based (no scary animal fat tallowates) and palm oil free.
