Chlorophytum Variegatum (12cm) V1 Description

Chlorphytum Variegatum is an indoor plant that can be more commonly known as the Spider Plant. The long leaves of the plant that form to a tip at the end are one of the best features about the Variegatum. The colours upon each leaf are a lovely shade of green which gives a good base colour for the leaves to start from. The green is then joined by a shade of white, mainly found on the outer margins of the plant, with both colours forming a stripey look. The plant will provide an attractive, fresh and pristine piece to any indoor space, whether you choose to place it in amongst a plant display, as a lone plant or as a ornamental plant. You must consider that the plant appreciates partial shade with some direct sunlight - if the plant receives this, it will thrive with ease. This member of the Chlorophytum genus will provide air-purifying benefits to the air surrounding it by removing harmful pollutants and unwanted toxins from the air. As far as you caring for the plant, watering should be carried out twice a month in Summer, with that reducing to just once in Winter.
