All chandeliers require self assembly and wiring.

If you're replacing an old light fixture with a small chandelier or assembling floor/table lamp and you are handy, installing a chandelier can be a DIY project. Budget about 2 to 4 hours. However, you do need to hire an electrician if:

You're generally not experienced with DIY projects.
You're installing a chandelier in an area with no existing light fixture or chandelier.
The wiring in your home is old and requires updating.
The chandelier is too heavy or large to handle safely.
The chandelier requires additional support and you're not sure how to install it.

Please ask us or search online for installation instructions if you have no idea what is 'SELF ASSEMBLY AND WIRING'. Please do not order if you don't know your ceiling is high enough or strong enough to hold the chandelier. You do not have to be an electrician to install the chandelier but you must be good at DIY and electric wiring. Most importantly, you must have patience!
