Yes! It is a sulphate-free shampoo so it is very gentle. Because we've taken out all the unnecessary ingredients, it won't dull hair, weigh it down, or impede new hair growth like traditional shampoos so it is recommended for all hair types. A shampoo should clean hair, period. It should not condition, volumise or defrizz because these ingredients can stay behind and are completely counterproductive to the cleansing process.

My hair is getting thinner. Is Color Security Shampoo a thickening shampoo?

There are no thickening agents or other ingredients in this formula. These types of ingredients should never be found in shampoos because they are designed to stick to hair. Color Security Shampoo was formulated to leave nothing behind which will stick to hair or scalp. If you are using a so-called “thickening” shampoo that deposits materials on your hair and scalp, these materials are probably building up, clogging your follicles, impeding hair growth….and in fact, making your hair thinner! Use styling products to bulk up hair or leave in supplements. Your shampoo should only cleanse.
