- The CONTOUR® XT blood glucose meter uses a measuring method known as multi-pulse. The multi-pulse principle means that seven separate measurement pulses produce a highly precise measurement within the measurement time. In addition, the sensor technology has also been improved. The new CONTOUR® NEXT sensors are highly stable to environmental influences and therefore support even more precise measurement results.
