COTONEASTER microphyllus A dwarf, stiff branched, spreading shrub forming a low mound. Evergreen, with glossy, round or oval leaves approx. 1cm long. Tiny white flowers are produced in spring followed in autumn by small reddish-pink fruits. Great for attracting birds, butterflies and bees to the garden. Will grow easily in any fertile, reasonably drained soil, in sun or partial shade and when established will tolerate drought. Super ground cover shrub and excellent when planted on banks and slopes. All pictures used are of mature plants in bloom and may not necessarily reflect plants at all times of the year.
