COTONEASTER Repens. Low-growing, evergreen. Description

COTONEASTER salicifolius Repens. A dense, low-growing, evergreen shrub with long, far reaching spreading branches. The small lance shaped leaves are dark green and very glossy. Clusters of tiny, white flowers are borne in great abundance in summer and are followed by bright red berries in autumn. These glossy berries often last throughout the winter. Excellent when used as groundcover especially on steep slopes or difficult banks and other hard to mow areas. Unfussy about soil types or conditions Cotoneaster Repens will tolerate almost any except very wet sites. Will grow in full sun or partial shade but best flower and berry production is achieved in full sun. Fully hardy and drought tolerant when established All pictures used are of mature plants in bloom, they are for illustration purposes only and may not reflect the plant at all times of the year.
