Crackle Varnish - Chalky - 100 ml Description
The Chalky Crackling Varnish comes in a 100 ml pot and can be applied over Chalky chalk paints and other water-based paints. The varnish gives surfaces a worn crackle effect. It's perfect for the trendy Shabby Chic and vintage look. The crackled item is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use once covered with a protective varnish. Appropriate for surfaces such as wood, concrete, plaster, paper, papier-mâché, canvas frames, terracotta, styrofoam, and stone. To achieve a very trendy crackled look on your painted items with Chalky chalk paint or other water-based paints, do the following: Paint the surface with Chalky chalk paint and let it dry thoroughly, then apply the crackling varnish (with a thick layer for coarse cracks, or a thin layer for fine cracks). The layer of contrasting paint cracks, and the first layer of paint becomes visible in the cracked areas.
