Thanks to the use of the lightweight Airdrive rotor, the stationary reel balance is shifted from the front unit to the rear of the reel and thus provides better overall balance and more sensitivity when fishing. The bait sensation is better transmitted and you can react faster. The precise and solid Tough Digigear transmission ensures high recovery force and long lasting smooth and quiet operation. The new Airdrive is also very light, extremely durable and in combination with the new arch arm there is much less tangles when throwing. If the fishing line gets tangled on the arm, just twist the crank into the line reel on the arm and you don't need to intervene. The ATD Type-L brake releases the cord in case of load without high initial resistance and also ensures a lot of safety when drilling a capital. The aluminum Longcast ABS spool has an optimized casting edge that ensures less friction and higher casting distances. Twistbuster III construction on the line roller ensures that braided cords are not flattened when winding and less twisting.
