Activlab® Pharma DebuActiv is food for special medical purposes in the form of enteric capsules. Each of them contains 150 mg of sodium butyrate in the form of microgranules suitable for use in adults and children over 7 years of age.

When to use sodium butyrate enteric-resistant capsules?

DebuActiv Activlab® Pharma is intended for dietary management of intestinal hypersensitivity, including irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). The formula can also be used in intestinal microflora disorders, diarrhea after antibiotic therapy, intestinal infections and inflammatory diseases of the gastric mucosa.

Microgranulation technology leading to obtaining a specialized form of granules. Thanks to this, the process of releasing sodium butyrate takes place along the entire length of the small and large intestine.

Application

Food for special medical purposes for dietary management:

in intestinal dysfunction (irritable bowel syndrome - IBS),

in intestinal microflora disorders,

in diarrhea after antibiotic therapy,

in intestinal infections and inflammatory diseases of the gastric mucosa,

in short-chain fatty acid deficiencies,

in patients after anticancer treatment (including intestinal inflammation after radiotherapy).

Recommended intake

Adults: 1 capsule twice a day, morning and evening.

It is recommended to use for at least 3 months.

Children over 7 years of age: 1 capsule a day, preferably in the evening.

It is recommended to use for at least 6 weeks.

How to use

Swallow the capsule whole (without chewing or spilling the contents), drinking water.

It is best to take with a meal.

Ingredients

Sodium butyrate, starch, bulking agent: microcrystalline cellulose, anti-caking agent: magnesium salts of fatty acids, capsule (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, gellan gum).

100 g of the product contains:

energy value 481 kJ/113 kcal,

fat 0 g, including saturated fatty acids 0 g; carbohydrates 28 g, including sugars 0 g; protein 0 g, salt 13.4 g.

1 capsule contains:

sodium butyrate 150 mg, including butyric acid 120 mg.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the product (may contain derivatives of: cereals containing gluten, soy, milk).

Do not use in children with swallowing disorders or when swallowing capsules is difficult.

Important tips

The product should be used under medical supervision.

The preparation is not intended for parenteral use.

The product cannot be used as the only source of food.

Do not use in people who do not have the above-mentioned diseases, health disorders or who have no medical indications for its use.
