Debutir Max 500 mg - Sodium Butyrate

Debutir Max is a food for special medical purposes in the form of capsules containing the sodium salt of butyric acid (sodium butyrate), supporting the nutritional process in patients with gastrointestinal diseases.

For the dietary management of:

functional bowel diseases, such as: irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), constipation, abdominal pain, abdominal bloating

acute diarrhea of various origins

inflammatory bowel disease

diverticulitis following radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy

conditions following gastrointestinal surgery

disorders of the intestinal microbiota composition, including during and after antibiotic therapy, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), and others

nutritional deficiencies (insufficient dietary fiber intake, low-fiber diet).

Directions:

Adults: Orally, 1 to 2 capsules daily. Take 2 capsules daily in the morning and evening, with one capsule preferably in the evening. It is recommended to take the product for at least 3 months.

Children over 7 years of age: Take 1 capsule orally daily, preferably in the evening. It is recommended to take the product for at least 6 weeks.

The capsule should be swallowed whole with water (without chewing). It is best to take the capsules with a meal and ½ glass of lukewarm or cool water. In special cases, such as in patients with swallowing difficulties, the contents of the capsule can be poured out and consumed with water or mixed with a thick food, such as plain yogurt, fruit puree, or another product.

Regardless of the method of administration, the microgranules should not be chewed or crushed.

Depending on individual needs, your doctor may recommend different doses.

This product is not intended for parenteral use. Use with caution in individuals with swallowing disorders or who have difficulty swallowing capsules (see "Directions for use"). If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to any of the ingredients of Debutir Max, discontinue use.

Store in a dry, shaded place, at a temperature of 0°C - 25°C, in a closed container, out of reach of small children.
