The MP2636 power management module is a small, integrated charging/boost module. It fulfills both charging and boosting functions in one go, simple to use. When no external power supply is available, the lithium battery powers the output, boosting the voltage; the Boost indicator light remains constantly . Note: When powered by an external power supply, the output voltage will not be consistently 5V, but will be slightly lower (approximately 0.1V) than the external power supply voltage. The input voltage should not exceed 16V, otherwise the chip may be damaged. Suitable Battery Voltage: 4.2V (3.7V lithium battery fully charged to 4.2V). Maximum Charging Current in Charging Mode: 2.5A. Maximum Output Current in Boost Mode: 2.5A. Switching Frequency: 600KHz. Dimensions: 35 x 30mm. Weight: 12g.
