Diagnosis Murder：The Complete series DVD(English) Box Set-32 Discs Description
Diagnosis Murder：The Complete series DVD(English) Box Set-32 Discs
The central character of the series *Diagnosis Murder* is Dr. Mark Sloan, a highly skilled, observant, and compassionate elderly internist. He works at a Los Angeles institution called "Community General Hospital." Core Pattern: In each episode, Dr. Sloan encounters bizarre deaths while treating patients or handling hospital affairs. Using his medical expertise and insight into human nature, he discovers these deaths are not natural or accidental, but rather meticulously staged murders. Investigative Duo: Dr. Sloan is not alone. His son, Steve Sloan, happens to be a homicide detective with the Los Angeles Police Department. Thus, the father and son form a unique "amateur-professional" investigative team. The father is responsible for identifying suspicious points and analyzing the cause of death from a medical perspective, while the son handles the official investigation, evidence gathering, and arrests. Atmosphere: Despite the theme of murder, the overall atmosphere of the series is not dark or terrifying. It focuses more on the enjoyment of solving the mystery, the heartwarming interactions between characters, and the clever revelation of criminal methods. Humorous dialogue and lighthearted moments are frequently interspersed throughout the show.
*Diagnosis Murder* is a classic, lighthearted crime drama that blends medical knowledge with detective mystery. It revolves around a unique partnership between a doctor father and a police officer son, as they uncover a series of cleverly disguised murders occurring both inside and outside a hospital. If you enjoy nostalgic detective stories that are less gory, emphasize logical reasoning and character chemistry, this show is an excellent choice. Hailed as a "comfortable mystery read" on television, it holds a unique place within the crime drama genre.
