Power supply: 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries (not included). Operating environment: Relative humidity 5% to 85%; Temperature 0C to 50C. Instructions: Press the on/off switch to enter measurement mode. Alarm setting (SET): Press the SET button to enter alarm setting mode. Cycle setting (ADJ) and confirmation (OK); access to temperature setting mode (temperature value is expressed in degrees Celsius only). The message "Hi" and the high temperature alarm begin flashing, indicating the start of the high alarm temperature setting. Clicking the ADJ button adds a high temperature alarm, two-second automatic functions, and a return to the high temperature, then to the low alarm temperature. A 1C temperature alarm is triggered when the temperature is set above 300C. Turn upwards and press "OK" to confirm. Access to low temperature alarm settings. The message "Lo" and the low temperature alarm begin flashing. ADJ can add a low temperature alarm, often with a two-second automatic function plus one. When switching to the high temperature alarm, the value returns to -50, and "OK" confirms. Once the alarm setting is complete, "Hi" and "Lo" disappear, and the display shows "AL" indicating the incoming alarm measurement mode.

To cancel the alarm (AC): Press the "AC" button; the measurement switches from alarm mode to measurement mode, and "AL" disappears. Note:

For best results, insert the probe at least 10 mm into the object being measured.

If the thermometer will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries.

Do not use the thermometer in or on a stove or oven.
