DoppelSil MAX 50mg 4x tablets

Description:

DoppelSil MAX 50mg is a drug used in adult men to treat erectile dysfunction, or impotence defined as the inability to achieve or maintain an erection of the penis sufficient for sexual intercourse. The drug works by supporting the relaxation of blood vessels in the penis, increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual arousal.

Composition:

The active substance is sildenafil citrate. Excipients: potassium polacrilin, colloidal anhydrous silica, lactose monohydrate, povidone K-30, aspartame (E 951), croscarmellose sodium, mint flavor, magnesium stearate, potassium hydroxide (to adjust pH) or concentrated hydrochloric acid (to adjust pH).

Each chewable tablet contains 50 mg of sildenafil in the form of sildenafil citrate).

Indications and action:

The over-the-counter drug DoppelSil MAX contains the active substance - sildenafil, which belongs to the group of drugs that inhibit the enzyme phosphodiesterase type 5 (so-called PDE5 inhibitors).

The drug works by supporting the relaxation of blood vessels in the penis, increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual arousal.

The drug DoppelSil MAX is used in adult men (over 18 years of age) to treat erectile dysfunction, i.e. impotence defined as the inability to achieve or maintain an erection of the penis sufficient for sexual intercourse.

Dosage:

If the patient has previously used drugs containing sildenafil at a dose of 50 mg or more, the recommended dose of the drug is 50 mg. Otherwise, DoppelSil MAX 50 mg should only be used if the patient did not experience the desired effect (i.e. did not get an erection sufficient for intercourse) after using sildenafil 25 mg. If the use of a medicine containing sildenafil in a lower dose (25 mg) allowed for obtaining an erection sufficient for sexual intercourse, the 50 mg dose should not be used.

Contraindications:

DoppelSil MAX should not be used concurrently with other oral or topical treatments for erectile dysfunction. DoppelSil MAX should not be used concurrently with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) treatments using sildenafil or other PDE5 inhibitors (e.g. tadalafil).

DoppelSil MAX should not be taken if erectile dysfunction has not been diagnosed. DoppelSil MAX is not a drug intended for women. Do not take DoppelSil MAX more often than once a day. Do not take this drug concurrently with other drugs containing sildenafil. Do not take if you are allergic to any of the above ingredients. Patients with kidney or liver problems should consult a doctor before using DoppelSil MAX. Patients with kidney or liver problems should not use a dose of sildenafil higher than 25 mg.

DoppelSil MAX with food and drink or alcohol:

DoppelSil MAX can be taken with or without food.

Although taking DoppelSil MAX with a heavy meal may prolong the time it takes for the medicine to start working.

DoppelSil MAX should not be taken with grapefruit juice, as it may affect the way the medicine works.

The ability to achieve an erection may be temporarily impaired after drinking alcohol.

To get the most out of the therapeutic effects of DoppelSil MAX, do not drink large amounts of alcohol before taking the medicine.

Driving and operating machinery:

DoppelSil MAX may cause dizziness and visual disturbances.

Patients should be aware of how they react to DoppelSil MAX before driving or operating machinery.

Warnings and precautions:

It is important that during the first 6 months of using DoppelSil Max, after consulting your doctor, you rule out other serious diseases that may cause erectile dysfunction, such as: heart and blood vessel diseases, diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol. You should consult your doctor if you have ever had an erection that lasts longer than 4 hours, even without sexual arousal, anatomical deformation of the penis or Peyronie's disease, heart problems, peptic ulcer disease; bleeding disorders.
