Citrates PLUS is a complex of essential organic minerals and vitamins. Magnesium, potassium and calcium in the form of citrates, vitamin D and B1 and zinc.

Magnesium Potassium Calcium Citrate PLUS is rich in potassium and low in sodium. The sodium to potassium ratio is particularly important for maintaining normal blood pressure. Therefore, nutritionists recommend a low-sodium diet with a high potassium content, to which the human body has evolved. Fruits and vegetables are rich in potassium and low in sodium, making them an important part of the diet. Sodium is a component of table salt and is mainly consumed in salted and processed foods (spices, bread, cold cuts, etc.).

The American Heart Association recommends a daily intake of a maximum of 4.7 g of potassium and only 1.5 g of sodium (approx. 3.8 g of salt). However, most people consume too much sodium and too little potassium (in Germany, approximately 90% of women and 75% of men do not meet the above recommendations).

Recommended daily dose:

- people aged 15-65: 1-2 times a flat measuring spoon (approx. 6 g);

- people aged 5-15 and over 65: one scoop.

Mix the powder in 250 ml of water or juice and drink with a meal. Scoop in the package.

Isotonic alkaline drink: for optimal absorption, dissolve a scoop of Magnesium Potassium Calcium Citrate PLUS in a liter of slightly carbonated water, add a little lemon juice to taste.

Does not contain artificial flavors, colors or preservatives. Stevia leaf extract gives it a slightly sweet taste, and finely ground lemon pieces add refreshment.

NOTE:

The full daily portion of the product (2 scoops) should not be consumed by the elderly, people with kidney disease, insulin-resistant diabetes, hypertension, heart rhythm disorders.

Do not use in case of:

• Kidney failure, alkalosis, hyperkalemia.
• In case of potassium level disorders, use only after consultation with a doctor.

Ingredients:

The optimal ingredients of the deacidifying preparation are plant-based compounds, citrates: potassium, magnesium, calcium. Unlike other alkaline substances, they do not cause a change in pH in the intestines - they only act in the cells. In addition, they are the basic fuel for a complex chain of chemical reactions (Krebs cycle), a process in which the cell produces energy. However, in order for them to be fully absorbed and work properly, they should be combined with zinc (important for the formation of the deacidifying enzyme: carbonic anhydrase). In order for calcium citrate to be well absorbed, it should be administered together with vitamin D.

Supplementing the diet with citrates is important not only for people with acidosis, but also for women over 40 and the elderly. Calcium, potassium and magnesium will not only have a positive effect on general health and performance, but will also strengthen bones (calcium) and muscles (magnesium).
