• Serve Dukkah simply with bread and olive oil as an easy starter. Or use it to create a delicious crust for lamb, fish, or even tofu. It can also be tossed on vegetables before roasting or into salads with oil or other dressings for some crunch and nutty flavour.

• A Middle Eastern condiment, Dukkah is the Arabic word for pound. This is because the spices, nuts, and seeds used to make it are traditionally pounded after roasting. Served as an early evening snack in Egypt, you just dip fresh bread into extra virgin olive oil and then into the dukkah before taking a bite.
