Indications:
Dulcolax is a contact laxative. When administered orally, in the form of a drag, or rectally, in the form of a suppository, it induces increased peristalsis by acting directly on the lining of the colon, usually resulting in a soft stool. The product is free of severe side effects.
All forms of constipation, (in bedridden patients; in case of change in diet or environment; due to digestive disorders); favoring evacuation when there is pain, such as in the case of hemorrhoids; pre- and post-operator; preparation of the colon for endoscopic examinations.
Contraindications:
Do not use Dulcolax:
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to bisacodyl or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Before using Dulcolax, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or plan to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Similar to other medicines, Dulcolax should be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding only on the recommendation of a doctor. Dulcolax can be used during breastfeeding.
Driving and using machines:
No studies have been conducted on the effects of Dulcolax on the ability to drive or use machines.
Method of administration:
The recommended dose is:
Adults:
Take 1-2 gastro-resistant tablets (5-10 mg bisacodyl) per day. Start with 1 drag. The dosage can be adjusted up to the maximum dose of 2 stools to produce regular stools. Do not exceed the daily main dose of 2 tablets.
Children aged 2 to 10 years:
Take 1 gastro-resistant tablet (5 mg bisacodyl) per day. You should not give Dulcolax to children aged 10 years or younger unless only your child's doctor has recommended.

Similar celorlalte medicamente, Dulcolax trebuie administrat în timpul sarcinii sau alăptării numai cu recomandarea medicului.Dulcolax poate fi utilizat în perioada alăptării.
Conducerea vehiculelor şi folosirea utilajelor:
Nu s-au efectuat studii privind efectele Dulcolax asupra capacităţii de a conduce vehicule sau de afolosi utilaje.

Adulţi :
Luați 1-2 drajeuri gastrorezistente (5-10 mg bisacodil) pe zi. Începeți cu 1 drajeu. Doza poate fi ajustată până la doza maximă de 2 drajeuri pentru a produce scaune regulate. Nu depășiți doza maimă zilnică de 2 drajeuri.
Copii cu vârsta cuprinsă între 2 şi 10 ani:
Luați 1 drajeu gastrorezistent (5 mg bisacodil) pe zi .Nu trebuie să administrați Dulcolax la copii cu vârsta de 10 ani sau mai mici decât numai la recomandarea medicului copilului dumneavoastră.
Dacă aveţi orice întrebări suplimentare cu privire la acest medicament, adresaţi-vă medicului dumneavoastră, farmacistului sau asistentei medicale.
