Uses
Suitable for wet room tanking, groundwork tanking and
waterproofing balconies and terraces (topped with a screed and
tiles). Offering high UV resistance, this crack bridging, non shrinking, non-cracking material is also ideal for repairing flat
roofs, sloping roofs, leaking flashing, guttering and roof lights and
cracked roofing panels.
Based on hybrid technology, EASISEAL PRO does not harden under
cold conditions and has very high stability to temperature
variations (from -50°C to +120°C), to UV radiation and to external
chemical attack Excellent resistance to ageing, ultra-violet and
discolouration. EASISEAL PRO has excellent adhesion to concrete,
brick, stone, lead, metals, glass, wood, bitumen/asphalt*, uPVC
and GRP roof panels and most plastics. Can be used on vertical
and horizontal surfaces. Can also be used for providing protection
to wooden fence posts and stakes to prevent wet rot when buried
under the ground. Creates an impermeable seal to repel water
damage.
Preparation
Surfaces should be free from any oil, grease, dust, debris, loosely
bound coatings or any other contaminants that may affect
adhesion. Organic growth should be treated
with MOULD STOP. For ferrous materials, it is
advisable to apply an anti-rust paint. *On
bitumen/asphalt surfaces EASISEAL PRO must be
used in conjunction with EASISEAL PRO PRIMER
(refer to EASISEAL PRO PRIMER datasheet for full
instructions code: BDEP1). New concrete and
mortars must be at least 28 days old. Irregular
masonry surfaces should be filled and levelled before applying
EASISEAL PRO. Cracks greater than 4mm wide should be filled prior
to application. This product can be applied to damp surfaces. If
there is standing water, brush this away and then apply EASISEAL
PRO to the damp surface. Do not worry if it then rains and water
pools on top of the coating, it will not be affected and will
continue to cure.
Application
Apply EASISEAL PRO to the surface with a brush, short pile roller,
trowel or squeegee. Although EASISEAL PRO can be used as a single
coat application we recommend applying two coats. The second
coat should be applied to give a total thickness of 2mm. When
applying the second coat, make sure the first coat is sufficiently
dry to walk on. This normally takes a minimum of 8 hours curing
time, preferably overnight and should be at a right angle to the
first.
Cleaning Of Tools
Clean tools using Acetone, MEK or Bond it WHITE
SPIRIT. Trowels and squeegees can be easily wiped
clean with the aid of Bond It MULTI-WIPES. Cured
material can only be removed mechanically with a
spatula or similar tool.
Limitations
EASISEAL PRO should not be used when temperatures of less than
5o
C are expected in the next 24 hours. Not suitable for use on low
surface energy plastics such as PE, PP and PTFE. Adhesion to
EPDM sheets needs to be checked on a small test area before
proceeding. Do not use on surfaces that bleed oils or plasticisers.
Damp substrates can cause blisters in the coating. If the minimum
thickness is not achieved, cracks and structural failure in the
coating may occur. Only walk on roof surfaces restored with
EASISEAL PRO for maintenance purposes.

Approximately 1m² per 1.4Kg at 1mm thick or 1m2 per 2.8Kg at
2mm according to the porosity and roughness of the surface.

12 months from date of manufacture when stored in unopened

Storage Conditions
Store at a temperature between +20o
C and +30°C in its original
unopened packaging. Once opened this product will begin to
cure and is recommended that the full tub is consumed.
Disposal of Containers
Do not leave empty containers where residue could be harmful
onto children, animals or the environment. Replace lids and
remove any containers to a central disposal point in accordance
with local regulations.
