Essentiale® Max for the liver is a herbal medicine used in liver diseases. The medicinal product has a regenerating and protective effect.

Essentiale Max is a herbal medicinal product based on soybeans used for liver ailments and diseases. Essentiale Max is administered in cases of lack of appetite, the need to neutralize toxic substances (i.e. alcohol, drugs) or in the case of hepatitis.

Essentiale Max reduces the patient's subjective symptoms such as: lack of appetite, a feeling of pressure in the right upper abdomen caused by liver damage as a result of an incorrect diet, exposure to toxic substances or in the course of hepatitis.

Composition:

The active substance is: phospholipids from soybeans containing (3-sn-phosphatidyl) choline.

1 capsule contains 600 mg of soybean phospholipids.

The excipients are: hydrogenated fat (Witepsol W 35), purified soybean oil, alpha-tocopherol, hydrogenated castor oil, hydrogenated fat (Witepsol S 55), ethanol 96%, ethylvanillin, 4-methoxyacetophenone.

Action:

Essentiale Max has a hepatoprotective effect, the primary action of phospholipids is to accelerate the regeneration and stabilization of cell membranes, inhibit lipid peroxidation and inhibit collagen synthesis.

Dosage:

Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.

Adults and children over 12 years of age: 1 capsule 3 times a day.

Indications:

Essentale Max is used to reduce the patient's subjective symptoms such as: lack of appetite, a feeling of pressure in the right upper abdomen caused by liver damage as a result of an incorrect diet, the effects of toxic substances or in the course of hepatitis.

Contraindications:

When not to use Essentiale Max:

If you are allergic to the active substance, soya, peanuts or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Warnings and precautions:

Essentiale Max contains soybean oil.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding:

For pregnant or breastfeeding women, consult your doctor before using the medicine.

Soybeans are often used as a food ingredient, and so far no harmful effects on pregnancy have been observed when using them.

Use of the drug in children and adolescents:

There are insufficient data on the use of Essentiale Max in children. Therefore, Essentiale Max should not be used in children under 12 years of age.

Driving vehicles and machines:

Essentiale Max has no effect on driving or operating machinery.
