The EVO 8 Audio Interface has all the innovative new features of the popular EVO 4, but offers more inputs and outputs and a software-controlled flexible monitor mixer. 4 EVO microphone preamps, 2 pairs of speaker outputs and two separately adjustable headphone jacks provide seamless connectivity in the project studio, rehearsal room or on stage. The new EVO software mixer allows easy monitoring and convenient routing of all signals. As a novelty, the external sound card features a Smartgain mode that automatically adjusts the level of the microphones. So you can concentrate on your creativity while avoiding annoying clipping and distortion. The loopback function makes it possible to record the computer output simultaneously with the microphones. The ideal audio interface for podcasters and streamers. The clean, warm and precise EVO preamps have a gain range of 58 dB and get the best out of every microphone. Thanks to its high-quality AD/DA converters, recordings with a dynamic range of 113 dB can reach any DAW in great detail. Monitor mixes via headphones or connected active studio monitors can also be realized effortlessly due to the extremely low latency. The intelligent multi-functional knob for level adjustment of the recording and playback channels is an enormous workflow facilitator. A JFET instrument input is available for direct guitar or bass recording. The 4 XLR combo jacks of the external sound card have a stable 48 Volt phantom power and offer connection for microphones and line level sources. EVO 8 is compatible with all major audio software and plug-ins and comes with a collection of professional software that provides everything you need to get started in home recording.
