Note:
1. communication process in addition to the FP Cancel instruction, other instructions sent, received must follow the principle of one send and one receive, two instructions sent interval time required greater than or equal to 20ms, less than this time may lead to the later instructions do not respond.
2. From the module Target to Host in the transmission of more than 24byte data, the use of response data packet (Response data packet).
3. Host should not send commands to TARGET when no answer is received.
4. The module indicator does not need to be controlled by default, it will automatically turn on the collector indicator when processing the command, if the correct fingerprint is collected, the indicator will be turned off automatically; if the correct fingerprint is not collected, the collector indicator will be on all the time. You can also use the Sensor LED Control command to turn on or off the collector light according to your needs.
5. The device has password protection mode. After the device password is set, most of the commands cannot be used if the device is not confirmed by the password. If no password is set for the device, all commands can be used without password confirmation.
6. The module automatically enters into initialization when it is powered on, which takes about 300ms. It is recommended to wait for 350ms after powering on the module and then send commands to the module.
7. The module has an automatic finger detection function, that is, when a finger is pressed on the fingerprint collector in low power mode, the Wakeup pin of the module will output a high level. The specific operation is as follows.
The +3.3V of the module should be kept powered all the time and cannot be disconnected.
When low power consumption is needed, disconnect the VIN power supply, then when a finger touches the fingerprint collector glass, the WKP pin of the module will output high level, take it away and turn back to low level.
After WKP output high level is detected, when the fingerprint module needs to work, turn on the VIN power and wait for 350ms and then send the command to the module.
